A sustainability gathering created by the participants…
Cumbre Yah is a participant-created festival located in the Mexican highlands. We bring talented and creative individuals from around the world to help create an exciting atmosphere in which we will all learn, contribute, and thrive. Our mission is to create a space for personal and community growth and learning, where we can come together and make a better world for all in attendance.
Upcoming Cumbres:
There are no public Cumbres scheduled.
Cumbre Yah will become a community. We will create, teach, learn, and connect; with each other and with the earth.

What is Cumbre Yah?
This event is not a party or a rave. It is a gathering of creative, artistic, and kind people who share their thoughts and skills and create Cumbre Yah.
It is difficult to understand the nature of Cumbre Yah; indeed, most of us won’t understand the nature of it until the event is over and done.
Expect to meet people who will open your heart and mind. Expect time with nature. Expect to learn and teach. Come prepared to participate! Come with willingness to take personal responsibility for your actions. Expect to have a good time. Other then these attributes, which will certainly happen during Cumbre Yah, let go of your expectations.
Principles of Cumbre Yah
- Personal Accountability
Participants in Cumbre Yah take personal responsibility for their actions and are conscious of their effect on others and on the natural space. All participants are responsible for arriving prepared and meeting their own needs.
- Self-Expression
Cumbre Yah is an environment supportive of creative self-expression. All participants are welcome to express themselves artistically and socially, as well as foster a supportive environment for the self-expression of others. We welcome people regardless of their national origin, age, religion, language abilities, or style of dress. - Cooperation and Collaboration
All participants will be a member of a team at Cumbre Yah. As teams are formed, the website will be updated to reflect new teams and whether teams need new members. Teams will work together as a group to make Cumbre Yah a great event.
