Cumbre Yah is about participation.

We are committed to a radically participatory ethic. We believe that transformative change, whether in the individual or in society, can occur only through the medium of deeply personal participation. We achieve being through doing. Everyone is invited to work. Everyone is invited to play.

Rules

All participants follow the Bosque rules. If you have any problem with any of the rules below, please do not attend Cumbre Yah.
  • Do not smoke outside of the smoking area
  • No illegal drugs
  • Do not feed the dogs or cats
  • Do not bring dogs or other pets to the event.
  • No visitors without prior reservation
  • Walk on trails and roads only
  • Do not collect firewood in the forest
  • Receive a quick fire-starting lesson before making a fire
  • Do not cut flowers or plants
  • Fire spinning is permitted in special areas only due to risk of forest fire
  • Do not drive around the forest
  • Do not litter
  • No amplified music – just acoustic. There will be some teams who have amplified music during Cumbre Yah – let us know if you need an exception.
  • Parents are responsible for the behavior of their children
